Euro Blood Substitutes Survey

One of the aims of the Euro Blood Substitutes project is to determine public and expert opinion towards current and potential blood substitutes and, for comparison, other biotechnologies and medical treatments. These opinions will inform research and assist in the interpretation and presentation of the projects laboratory studies.

The main route of determining opinion is through a large-scale survey. This survey is being randomly mailed to UK households and by approaching people with a specific interest in medical treatments (via newsletters etc.) e.g. people receiving or providing healthcare. The questionnaire can be filled in online at www.risksurvey.co.uk or a paper version and pre-paid envelope can be requested by emailing Dr Piers Fleming or calling Piers on 0115 9515325.
